We also collect usage data automatically, including pages visited, features used, and device and browser information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the getNgigs platform
• Create and manage your artist or venue profile
• Facilitate bookings and communications between artists and venues
• Send SMS notifications to artists who have explicitly opted in
• Send transactional emails such as pitch confirmations and account notices
• Respond to your questions and support requests
• Monitor for fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service

3. SMS Notifications

Pro artist members may opt in to receive SMS notifications about booking opportunities. By providing your phone number and checking the SMS opt-in on your artist profile, you consent to receive text messages from getNgigs at the number provided.

SMS messages may include alerts when a venue opens your EPK after a pitch, when a pitch is marked as booked, when a new private event listing matches your genres and location, and when someone responds to your Tour Board listing.

Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by unchecking the SMS opt-in on your artist profile. Reply HELP for help. For support contact [email protected].

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Venues and promoters when you pitch them or they view your public profile
• Service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, email, SMS delivery)
• Law enforcement when required by law or to protect safety

Artist profiles and booking contact information marked as public are visible to all users of the platform. Host email addresses submitted with private event listings are never displayed publicly and are only used to deliver artist response emails.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting [email protected]. Private event listings expire automatically after the event date.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted passwords and HTTPS. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

getNgigs is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
