The Lariat

The Lariat has been a Buena Vista landmark since 1885, and the 350-capacity all-ages room on East Main Street remains the place in town for live music, food, and drinks. Most shows land Thursday through Saturday nights, with open mic on Wednesdays. Thursday shows and Friday happy-hour slots are reserved for solo and duo acts, and larger bills take over from there. For guests, it is a foundational Buena Vista stop with genuine mountain-town character; for artists, the room's history plus its production infrastructure make it one of the better rooms to play in this part of the state.
