The Light Box at Stillwater Music

The Light Box is a 2,000-square-foot multipurpose venue inside Stillwater Music's downtown Durango facility on Main Avenue, a 110-seat all-ages room designed to accommodate a wide range of performing arts: music, dance, visual arts, theater, poetry slams, fashion shows, film screenings, recitals, classes, and meetings. Flexible seating, a moveable and configurable stage, a sprung floor, theater lighting throughout, and a professional sound system make the space genuinely adaptable. Shows can be held Friday through Sunday. For guests, it is one of the more versatile arts stops in Durango; for artists, the technical infrastructure and flexible layout support formats a standard bar or theater cannot easily manage.
